Surprisingly, I stab my fingers into the oak desk as I gnaw my lips. The words I heard just now are grating my inside
How? How on earth is Ashton going on a blind date? Hell, I never knew him as one interested in such things.
The whirling thoughts grow my curiosity and suddenly I want to find out more about this rumor of Ashton’s date.
On cue, I hear the janitors‘ voices slipping into my office again.
“I even heard he has been to more than three dates.” The first voice says.
The admission makes startled gasp to leave my lips.
I suddenly feel insecure. I know Ashton. He’s a playboy who loves to stick his rod in any hole.
Who knows if he has slept with those blind dates of his? I ask myself, gnawing my lips, I almost draw blood.

Every day at the hospital, one strange woman would come looking for me at my break time, saying that Dane
connected her to me.
Yeah, one actually happened in the foyer and literally everyone was there when the lady came.
That created a backdrop for the news spreading in my hospital that I’m going on blind dates.
Once I set eyes on those ladies, knowing they’ve sacrificed their time, I just can’t quite ditch them.
I comply and take them out with me. I always give them the right the pick their location.
Well, among all the women I’ve gone out with since this blind date flasco, the woman I’m leaving with today seems more gregarious with added beauty.

She takes me by the hand and I let her, then she guides me to the ice cream stand some feet away from us.
To my surprise, she orders more ice cream than a child would ever.
It was at that instant that I gave her a clear once–over. Hell, she’s plus–size. Not the kind of lady I want. Desire.
‘I knew just that.‘ My lycan chirps, mocking me.
Immediately after licking the ice cream and wiping the corners of her mouth, she turns to me with a tiny, lingering smile.
Then, “I’m a fan of hazelnut latte. Can we go get one at the café? And there you can tell me about yourself.”

Nodding my yes to my blind date, we begin walking down the street, Curious eyes linger on us as we take down the street, heading to the café.
It’s obvious why. People didn’t expect to see the popular doctor and alpha walking down the road like this.
I pass greetings to whoever I can and focus ahead. In a matter of minutes, we arrive at the teeming café.
With a sweeping look around, I find an empty spot in the corner outside the café and under the canopy. It gives a panoramic view of the beautiful street.
The hum of discussions, clicking of cameras, ding of bicycles, and low honk of cars add to the splendid atmosphere of the outside terrace of the café.
“Over, there.” She points to the same spot my eyes catch on and smiles.
Before I know it, she drags me along, weaving through the seated bodies of the cafe’s customers so we can reach the seats.
